MangoCare operates as a digital consultation platform, offering users access to general guidance and second opinions.

  2. How We Use Your Data:

    • To enable communication with doctors and support staff.
    • For account management and customer support.
    • We share your case with Open AI to get an AI Response, we are not sharing your personal information with AI just the case.
  3. Legal Basis:
    • Our data processing is based on your explicit consent and in accordance with GDPR (EU users) and HIPAA (US users).
    • Consultation-Only Service
      The doctors and psychologists available through MangoCare serve exclusively for informational and consultative purposes. They do not provide prescriptions, therapy, or official diagnoses via the platform. Their role is to offer a second opinion or general advice based on the information provided by the user.
    • No Medical Treatment or Emergency Support
      MangoCare is not a substitute for in-person medical examination or emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should contact your local emergency services immediately.
    • User Responsibility for Document Verification
      All certificates, licenses, and professional documentation displayed on doctors’ profiles are provided directly by the professionals themselves. While MangoCare encourages professionals to share accurate and truthful credentials, we do not independently verify or guarantee the authenticity of these documents. Users are encouraged to make their own informed decisions when engaging with professionals on the platform.
    • Consultation Disclaimer
      The term “doctor” or “professional” on MangoCare may refer to a range of healthcare-related profiles, including students in the final stages of their medical or psychology education. While these individuals may provide helpful insights, they are not guaranteed to be licensed or fully certified practitioners.
      MangoCare acts solely as a platform for connection and consultation and does not verify the professional or academic status of every individual. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the user (patient) to critically evaluate the advice or opinion received, and to seek in-person medical care or a certified second opinion where appropriate.
  4. Data Sharing:
    • With healthcare professionals for case management.
    • With third-party service providers for analytics and system performance.
    • As required by law or legal process.
  5. Your Rights:
    • Access, update, or delete your personal data.
    • Withdraw consent at any time.
    • Request to delete your account at any time. Once deleted, all your associated data will be permanently removed from our systems. No backups or logs are kept of personal data.

    • All user data, medical information, and communication are end-to-end encrypted and stored securely in compliance with relevant data protection laws. MangoCare does not share personal information data with third parties without explicit user consent, unless required by law.

    • Bearer Token is used for secure authentication.
